The Monument of Eternal Flame
This monument is found at the far end of the Pacific War Memorial, on a hill overlooking the rest of Corregidor Island. This dynamic steel sculpture captures the unconquerable spirit that made this minute island a beacon of hope, courage and freedom for people caught up in the immense, inexplicable drama that was World War II, and weaves it into an inspirational symbol consistent with up to date times.
