Cine Corregidor
There are many establishments in the island which is Corregidor. There is a certain building for the entertainment of the people especially the soldiers during that time. That building is the Cine Corregidor. This establishment is the theater back then for the people living in Corregidor. This theatre was built primarily because of its use as the theater in the island. Movies and documentaries were showed and played there. Movies were shown there 6 months before the original premiere in our country. Soldiers in the military based camp went there to view majestic and historical documentaries. It varies in genres and kinds. The last movie shown there was “Gone with the wind”. Certain movies and documentaries sure satisfied the cravings of the soldiers for happiness and excitement.
Today, the Cine Corregidor still lies in the island. The memories of the establishment can still be seen through the walls and what is left of the establishment. You can see the marks and signs of the historical events that happened there. A part of Corregidor which really plays a big role and very historical place in the said island is the Cine Corregidor.
